DESCRIPTION
Celebrating its 31st year, the Math Olympiad international math competition continues to challenge students in grades 4-8 by asking them to solve real problems. This session is designed for teachers who are new to the program as well as veterans wanting creative coaching tips that motivate students to find numerous ways to solve problems. Whether or not you officially enter the competition, the engaging group processing method is a great way to differentiate instruction in the classroom. Presentation includes student-produced video about solving math problems guaranteed to have you thinking in a different way!
